"We were welcomed and given our unique key. Loved how fishing was included in items at the lodge. Comfortable cozy room, and glad we chose an ocean view. WiFi was poor. We had dinner at the second building, they were able to create an amazing gluten free dinner as well. Lovely sunsets. Lovely place to unwind from a busy life. "

"The Cedar room was perfect. Beautifully appointed and very comfortable. Enough space and bar ‘fridge, plates, silverware etc to organise a simple breakfast. Especially loved the guest deck with the gorgeous peaceful estuary views. We saw our first bear in the wild.. a distant moving black blob, but it was a bear! Jay generously provided binoculars for a possible future sighting but alas! "

"We had a wonderful stay. The room had a beautiful view and we loved using the hot tub in the evening. It is a 15-20 minute walk to central Ucluelet which was nice as one night we went to Pluvio for the Chef’s tasting menu with wine pairing and didn’t want to drive. Brock answered any questions by email very quickly. It felt like we were all alone here. "
