You can climb Lone Cone. This is the rewarding view from the top. You can take a water taxi from Tofino. It's a strenuous hike, but well worth it. Be aware that after rain the track gets very muddy and there are a lot of obstacles along the way.

Amazing spot, as always. Accomodations nice, albeit a bit tired. Has been under rennovation for years. Staff were going through something and seemed overworked and/or tired. A few things not available, perhaps because not high season. Its list some of the charm it had 10 yrs ago.

Cabin 25 was not very clean and in poor repair compared to photos on the website. There was trash in the night stand drawers, cobwebs in corners, mold in the bathroom and broken bathroom floor tiles. It’s a cosy cabin and with a good cleaning and a little tlc could be quite nice but as is, it’s overpriced. ...
