"Staff was very nice. It was very convenient having 24hr shuttle service. I did not have time to use the pool or gym. I cannot comment on breakfast since I had to be at the airport at 5am. Room was updated but it showing signs of wear and tear. Some mold showing up in shower, wallpaper starting to peel. I had a dirty wall, housekeeping must have missed. Over all a good place to stay. Cleaner than some places I've been in Thank you to the staff."

"This? This is a Holiday Inn? I felt like Blanche DuBois arriving at Elysian Fields. I've always associated the brand with clean, bright, cheerful vibes, that big sparkling sign when we were kids. This place has seen better days. Once I made it past the less than engaged guy at the front desk, I went upstairs to my room to unpack, and to use the bathroom, which to my horror refused to flush! Bad scene. No water in the tank. Huh? The maintenance guy showed up, I fiddled with the water supply...

"The room I was in was clean and comfortable, however the courtyard and landscaping could use some attention and updating but All together the property was nice. There is all day parking across from the convention center was $30 which was well worth it. There is 4 hour parking about a block from the center. "I have stayed at this hotel in the past and honestly have always enjoyed the stay. This time the room had standing water - at least six inches - in the tub. The woman at the desk - Monique - said she would have it fixed while we were out for the afternoon. I have been in town recently to help care for my brother who had triple bypass surgery. We left the hotel to go to see him and when we returned several hours later there was still standing water in the tub and the toilet would not flush....
