"It's an older motel, which I knew when I booked it. It was clean; however, there was a musty/moldy smell in the bathroom but no visible signs of mold - perhaps in the walls? This is a picky thing of mine, but I hate when different lights are in the same light fixture, some soft-white and others cool white. I know - 1st world problems, but details matters."

"This is a really sweet little place to stay. The manager John is outstanding. The room was nicely decorated and comfortable in a Native American style. There were hand carved wooden animal statues dotted around the gardens, lush with flowers even in May. "We loved it, it was cozy, clean, close to Pagosa only wish the hiking trail was open… and maybe a little more light outside… other than that everything was great…! Enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back with the family…"

"What an amazing experience! The domes were well appointed, cool and had lots of options to fine-tune your comfort.
The patio furniture was very comfortable and perfect to enjoy the sounds of the San Juan River, mere steps away. There was a gas powered fire pit that we lit to enjoy the evening and stargazing. I highly recommend the Pagosa River Domes for a neat lodging experience. Our king room had plenty of room to relax and enjoy indoors and out.
