"Good budget with potential"
It's a budget hotel - great price - in a great location. It has potential to be much more with simply someone to oversee the cleaning- clean the ?coffee spills marks off the wall, scrub down the little plastic side white side table in the room or if the stains are permanent, replace it. The beds were very clean, mattresses firm and pillows flat-ish like in other Japanese accommodation we stayed in, but surprisingly comfortable so very pleasing. We had 2 rooms, both bathrooms adequately clean. The hotel is perfect for a 1-2 night stay. If the TVs could be hung on the wall to create a bit more space for suitcases, it would be good for longer stays. One of our rooms had the lock on the OUTSIDE of the bathroom door instead of the inside, and there are supplied toothbrushes, yukatas, towels etc - no frills, but not needed. Cute neighbourhood, great Thai restaurant a stone's throw away, and great Family Mart for coffee, food, alcohol, everything, just a tad further. A quick walk to Shin-Okubo station. Lovely, well-used shrine on the corner of the street. The office ladies took good care of luggage left until the new late checkin time of 4pm, and also left there the following day until we were ready to go to the airport. The cleaning lady was very sweet.

"Tremendous Bargain"
Am hesitant to even write a review because true gems of bargains are worth keeping to one's self, but here goes... If you think Tokyo is over-priced, this is the hotel for you. You can't beat the price/performance ratio of the Sakura hotel in Hatagaya. It's very conveniently located with easy access to tasty local eateries and transportation, rooms are very clean and comfortable (just don't expect the spaciousness of a U.S. hotel in Japan), and though the included breakfast is bare bones (coffee and toast), every morning they also serve an excellent soup which is a treat in itself. Very highly recommended.

"Clean, quiet & breakfast at price of capsule hotel"
Mita Kaikan Hotel is a quiet, basic, clean, with full bath, WiFi and breakfast. Centrally located in Minato and close to Shiba Park and the Mita, Asakusa and Yamanote subway lines. Although quiet, there are enough places to find a bite to eat or convenience stores like Lawson and Family Mart/Famima. In terms of service and breakfast (choice of sandwiches or rice balls along with beverages and soups), it is basic but consider it's not typically included at most hotels and the staff is friendly. I was at the hotel for 4 days and it was a good stay as the price was about the same or less than a typical capsule hotel which has less privacy. I'd stay again.

"nice hotel close to JR station!"
We think this hotel locates in the easy access of transportations i.e. JR line and subway. The surround areas are full of restaurants; local, Asian, western and 7/11. The hotel is also near Asakusa (Senzoji) Temple where it's the famous tourists attraction in Tokyo. So, it's recommended and we'll choose this hotel again next time.

"Comfortable room and convenient location"
This hotel is located near the Daimon subway (2 mins walk) which makes travelling around all parts of Tokyo convenient and of easy access. From Haneda International Airport, we took the monorail to Hamamatsucho station (15 to 30mins). This station is only about 10 mins' walk to the hotel. The hotel receptionists are very helpful and friendly. At least 1 of the 2 on duty could speak simple English. You can shop till you drop at Ikebukuro, Shibuya, Oshiage 'Skytree' and Shinjuku.

"Close to train station, quiet and clean hotel"
I arrived late at night so I missed the hotel few times cause it was hard to locate the hotel since it's not facing the main road. It's close to JR Kamata station but if you're coming from Haneda Airport and getting out from Keikyu-Kamata Station, it's a 15 minutes walk. Try to get out from JR Kamate station if you're arrive late at night cause walking from Keikyu-Kamata Station some part can be quite dark. Easy check in and the staff is really friendly (although limited English communication). The room is quite small and opening a large suitcase may be a hassle but for a solo traveller it's okay but for 2 people it can be quite a squeeze.

"Good sightseeing & access to both Tokyo airports"
I chose Capsule Inn Hamamatsucho due to its price, location in the Daimon/Shiba area, and its convenient transportation links. I stayed for one night before taking an international flight from Narita the following morning, and I knew I'd be able to take a direct train ride on the Asakusa Line and be at the terminal in just over an hour. + The staff were lovely and helpful. - The downsides were that check-in wasn't until 5pm, and that there was only one shower for up to 13 female guests. The late check in time was somewhat inconvenient as I had to check out from my previous accommodation at 10am. Thankfully, the staff were kind enough to look after my luggage until I could return to check in in the evening. The lack of showers led to many guests having to queue for extended periods of time, or just forego showering altogether. Overall, for the price I paid, I can't complain ;)
