"The experience at Hotel Gran Real Punta Cana II in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, was disappointing. The hotel indicated that it had not received the reservation payment from Expedia, and staff stated that similar issues had affected other Expedia guests. The room was very basic and lacked adequate bed linens. The bathroom had no towel rack, no shower curtain, and no hot water. In addition, the hotel is located in an area that may not feel secure to some travelers. Its address is difficult to...

"The staff here is very helpful and friendly, and my room was so comfortable and well decorated. It was better than the last time I stayed there, which was already good... so I think the management here must be very dedicated to a positive guest experience and improvements in their hotel. The hot water worked well, everything was very clean, and it's both a quiet place but within 5 or so minutes walking to the beach, restaurants, etc I will definitely stay here if I visit Punta Cana again. "Very nice and large studio with a kitchenette that includes a sink, microwave, small fridge and a 2 burner electric stove. Utensils, glassware and some pots and pans provided. AC works great. Large bath. Very clean except for a dusty porcelain tile floor. Beachfront with great view, quiet and secure and conveniently located 10 minutes from the airport. A little far from where most restaurants are located so that a taxi or golf car rental is needed. There are however 3 casual restaurants within...
