"I wanted to give this hotel a chance after the poor reviews that I read. First impresssions at the front office were not promising. I did like that the outside door required a key card to enter the building. I did notice the dirty rugs in the hallway. Our room wasn’t cleaned throughly. I found chip pieces on the carpet and there were a couple of hairs in the tub. I did like the toiletries that were provided. "Room was clean and it looked like it had been updated. No hair dryer or iron which I thought was the norm for almost every other hotel I’ve stayed at. Air conditioner had a hard time keeping up. Main thing we noticed and others that joined us was that the elevator always smelled awful! The room however, smelled great! The employee the first night was awesome!
