"This hotel was way cleaner than I expected. The staffs were friendly and provided great service. My only complaint is the breakfast food, which only served cereal, pancakes, and muffins. Otherwise, I would definitely book again!"

"The room was recently innovated. While there were still remnants of the old, dated layout and amenities such as non-functional light fixtures, the room is spacious, clean, dark, comfortable, and generally pleasant. There were evidence of honest attempts in housekeeping. Unfortunately, there were still small areas where attentions were needed (such as small sections of the shower grout and panel gaps). "

"I can not say enough positive things about this hotel! Monica and all of the staff were very accommodating! Yes, it’s older. It’s actually the oldest hotel in Grand Marais. If you are looking for a cozy place to rest your head after exploring the city or hiking the beautiful trails this is the place! Comfy bed, great views of the lake! (Make sure to request a lake facing room) Right dead center of the town, very walkable location! "

"We booked a quick northern get-away, and Eagle Ridge was a perfect place to stay. The balcony overlooking the mountain side is beautiful in summer! The room was spacious and the amenities were nice. Microwave, small fridge, coffee maker and toaster allowed for simple snacks and small meals in our room while we're on the go! The pool was a special treat too! Would have loved a restaurant on site, but I think one is coming to the area. Definitely recommend."

"It was a nice stay. We had been here 1.5 years ago so I feel it was better this time. Their breakfast was okay with a variety of things including waffles, but not a lot of other hot food choices.The pool area looked very nice and usually had people there. It didn't look like the hot tub was available, though. Wish we had brought our suits. We were here visiting family for the 4th of July holiday so we didn't spend a lot of time here. "Check in was easy. Our room was spotless and the bed was comfortable. Highly recommend the full kitchen room if available. Has lots of room and works great if you need a kitchen and full size refrigerator. We loved it. Would definitely stay here again. "
