"Newly renovated and spacious, however this apartment fell far short of its advertised 'luxury'. The unit sits directly beside the noisy A85 trunk road road, there is double glazing but soundproofing is still very poor, as there is constant traffic noise and you can quite clearly hear outside conversations with all windows firmly shut. "Such a unique place to stay, and exactly what I wanted. It’s built on stilts into the side of a hill, just above a fabulous Inn. Walking distance (400m ish) from Lochawe train station. It’s not a hotel, so for the nightly cost if you want a hotel this isn’t it. But the view and location if you want to be at peace, in nature with the most incredible views and backdrop, this is it. Very comfortable beds, quiet, fantastic warm shower. Everything we needed (and I’d packed things expecting it to be...
