"After booking, we repeatedly messaged the hotel for directions and only got a reply at 7:55am on check-in day, telling us the only boat left Cartagena at 8:15am. No way to make it. They then sent a contact for a 9am boat costing 90k + 30k port tax, though cheaper 70k options exist. Given boats run only until 9am and transport can cost as much as two nights’ stay, this should be clearly stated before booking – we could easily have missed the first night.

"Villa #1 was very good.
Close to smaller bar but still private.
Big room and big jacuzzi.
It's lay down Caribbean beach resort so all the facilities were not in top shape - BUT for the price and the amneties it's great.
Just remember you need to climb stairs and low hill if you stay at villas. Staff will.carry your luggage.
Nice common pool.
Great staff.
Food and drinks were good and not too pricy.
The boat trip itself is already a great experience with the skyline and island views."
