"Pleasantly surprised with everything about our stay. Staff were friendly and accommodating, room was better than expected, nice roof terrace and right next to a ferry port so easy access to Brooklyn or if you’d like to get a $4.50 ride up to Roosevelt and get the cable car over to Manhattan. Only 2 downsides but wouldn’t put me off staying again: 1. Shower does overflow into the rest of the wet room unless you put a towel down as a barrier. 2. A little further from a subway for commuting to the rest of the city than we are used to when staying in NY. Depending on where you are going, one is 5 mins away and the other is 10 minutes away. But like I said, the ferry is an amazing alternative."

"Great place to stay as the staff is very friendly and helpful in suggesting things close by. I had an issue with the toilet constantly running on the last night of my stay and they were up in minutes to fix it. Breakfast was great. The only downside is the local parking which has no in and out privilege's. I basically paid the attendant under the table to allow me to do so."
