"There’s a taxi stand right across the street, which was great, especially because this property won’t order you a taxi since they offer their own shuttle for hire (70 for airport drop off vs a taxi which is 50). The area is pretty good, right across from Santa Maria Maggiore, and walkable to the Colosseum. A bit longer walk to Trevi and the other sites and a drive to the Vatican. "We had a lovely stay. The property is located near the main attractions and they are easily walkable. We used this more like an apartment than a hotel but it was perfect for my son and I. "La Residenza is a small boutique hotel - just my style. The lcoation - just off Via Veneto is quite convenient. The front staff provides great information and readily sets up taxis when needed. The breakfasts are fantastic - a good variety and fresh fruit and delicious coffees. Mauro was quite helpful and knowledgeable. I can highly recommend La Residenza and would stay there again."

"This hotel is very well located, walking distance from ma y important sites, including the Pantheon, the Coloseum, the Forum, the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. And yet, it is removed from the very center of the tourist crowds. Excellent restaurants are all also in walking distance. The only time we travelled by taxi was to visit the Vatican. The staff are all very knowledgeable, helpful and responsive. The rooftop restaurant is a gem, providing a bird's eye view of the surrounding area....

"We had a 5 night stay. The staff (including the breakfast team and the domestic staff) at the hotel were outstanding. So very friendly and helped us to maximise our time in Rome. Always ready with a smile and genuinely wanted to know how our day had gone.
