"The hotel is unique, clean, with nice staff. However, the rooms are very small, no microwave, and limited amentities that youd expect to find in a Marriot hotel. They are also incredibly expensive. For 3 nights for a regular room was over $1200. They charge for everything, a "tourism marketing fee", a "destination fee", a "tourism fee" and "tourism tax" in addition to $40 a night for valet, where they park your car 3 blocks away in a sketchy lot. "Enjoyed a beautiful corner suite for a long weekend. View of the Bay is breathtaking. The room was in good order and well maintained throughout the weekend. Great water pressure. Quick elevators. The property grounds are gorgeous. We saw lots of wildlife including a spontaneous private dolphin show from the end of the dock near Oystercatchers. Borrowed a “beach kit” for a day out on the coast which was very convenient and included in the resort fee. A room on the Bay side of the hotel is a must...

"This location was perfect for my plans. It is right on the Riverwalk, hence the name!! They had a DJ everyday from about 11-5 and the music was jamming. The trolley is just a couple blocks up. It was beautiful and a great time. The one thing that could be better is the food service. My food came back cold on more than one occasion and it took forever to come out. Service was basically island time and the servers didnt have a sense of urgency. Overall though all was wonderful and I would definitely stay there again."
