"The hotel is nice and it has a superb sunrise. We had a premier sea view room and it was amazing to wake up and see that sunrise. Besides that though there is not much to do around and in the area dining options are limited. Cleanliness was ok but could be improved. Noise level was also hard to manage because there is a live band every night that we could hear from our room."

"The location is beautiful and understandable that it is in an ancient rainforest, however it doesn’t excuse the mould in some of the rooms or the hair that was clogging the sinks and showers. On arrival we decided to have lunch as they prepped our room, we found flies in our salads, not one but three. We had a 1.5 year old with us, so you can only imagine our shock when the room smelt of damp. They finally agreed to changing our room to only find more damp growing even on the pictures displayed...

"Great chalet style property with excellent facilities. Would recommend that the Spa focused on appointing more trained staff in specalised services. The restaurants were great! The buggy service was also good. Staff were very friendly."

"Welcoming was great and staff are very polite. Rooms were okay but very outdated. Found a cockroach dead in the bathroom and highlighted it to the staff but nothing was done about it despite them saying it will be sorted which was very disappointing. Paid extra for the breakfast but I wouldn't recommend it. Very limited breakfast and doesn't cater for majority of diets. Location was quite good as shops and markets were close by. "The staff were very helpful and supportive but the hotel was old and tired. It was a cheap, well located transit stop between an inward flight in pm and early outbound ferry in the morning. Facilities were basic, but biggest concern was that every word spoken and movement by the family with young children in the room next door were clearly audible through the connecting door. "
