"Gorgeous property on the outskirts of Edinburgh. We had a young family and found it perfect to relax after a day of travel around the city. Nice Scottish breakfast buffet as well but for us the beautiful landscape and building architecture were the highlight. We found the service to be decent with couple moments of great service. "

"Have stopped in this style of hotel on numerous occasion's, this one was as good as they get. Room was spacious, well equipped and clean but with a view over the car park, food was very good and the staff couldn’t be faulted. We would be more than happy to stay here again."

"one of the best hotel room, i have ever stayed. the lobby is nice, the room is huge and even nicer. they refill the water, but towards the end of our stay, they no longer refill the snack. otherwise the room is nice as per picture, bonus it is just 3 mins walk from the train station, so if your journey is late at night, this hotel is just close by to the train station and royal mile."

"Loved the sea-view room, and the bed and chairs were very comfortable. What the Expedia listing does not say and their own website does is that there is live music every weekend, which can be loud enough even on the 2nd floor of rooms that sleeping might be difficult. Also, the parking area has only six spots for the 12 rooms at the hotel, so it’s not guaranteed that you would be able to park in their car park (5 pounds/day charge). "

"I really liked this place for the most part. The location was good for everything touristy, it was equipped with everything you need to cook, the bathroom was clean with nice water pressure, dishwasher worked well, nice view, the staff were friendly enough without being over the top. I LOVED the towel warmer and turned it on about 30 mins before I took a shower to warm up the bathroom. I also was able to wash undergarments in the sink and dry them on the towel warmer (I cleaned the sink...
