Old building and rooms due for refurbishment but that did not impact my stay The bath in my room was very high and may be difficult for older people to get in to also quite a few stairs to room. "Very modernized and updated, which makes the experience more enjoyable. Clean, relatively quiet for a center city hotel, spacious room, nice bathroom. They provide a fan in the room if you like having white noise when you sleep. No AC though they have windows that crack open. Only negative was the fire alarm went off for about a minute but went off as we were scrambling to leave the room. Asked front desk about it and his only answer was “we cannot disclose”. Ok well that sounds like a cover-up of something. Overall a great place to stay. "
