"Booked this hotel for my boyfriend’s birthday trip and it was amazing. The hotel looked exactly like the pictures it was extremely clean and very quiet perfect for couples needing a calm and relaxing vacation. It’s not on the main road so you’ll need transportation if you choose not to rent a car but everything is about 15-20mins away. Breakfast was good and is complimentary. The only down side to this was its not an all inclusive you have the option to use the temporary credit they hold to pay...

"Property was clean and well kept. Staff was attentive and friendly. The hotel is in a nice neighborhood where you can easily walk to restaurants and entertainment. We stayed in the room with the floating bed suspended by rope. I found the space awkward. The bed took up the entire room space. It was no room for luggage, no night stand to place anything. This made for your room to get/look cluttered quickly. Also in the shower area there is no bench or area to place your shower gels or shampoos....

Our private room was clean, the hosts were friendly and helpful, and the location was very near to cafes, shops, markets, etc… but not on the main road. The pool was down when we were there but it looks like they were fixing it. Also, there was a big storm when we were there. The electricity went out but they came around with candles which was really helpful! "

"Our stay was phenomenal. The location was perfect, about 8 minutes away from town driving. There’s a few small places that are walking distance as well for food and drinks. The service was great, the location was well. Our hosts were very responsive. We did have a small issue with the water being out our first night. We got back in around 2 and the water was out, maintenance agreed to come fix it first thing in the morning but luckily it cut back on by the next morning around 830 by itself....

"This is a very well operated Hotel. Easy access to all Tulum has to offer without the inconvenience of the beach road Hotels. I have stayed in most of the 4 to 5 star Hotels in Tulum over the past 20 years and prefer the Aloft. Its a very friendly Hotel that you can really enjoy with all the restaurants and shops within walking distance. I will be returning to Tulum again shortly and will again stay at the Aloft ."
