The hotel is located in the middle of the Wuzhou street night market as well as other eateries, convience stores. If you love street market food, this is the place to stay

Excellent hotel. Will stay again!

I really enjoyed our stay here. Hotel was clean, spacious, and appeared recently remodeled/updated. The location is superb. Very close to Longshan temple and the Longshan MRT station. The Guangzhou night market is just outside the hotel so very convenient for dinner and good eats. But despite the night maket being so close, the room was very quiet inside. Will stay again!

The hotel was clean, staff friendly, big rooms, and the night market out front very lovely. Breakfast was bad but the worst part of the stay was that the beds were hard as stone. I felt like I was sleeping on my dining room table. We checked out two nights early.

The hotel has a fantastic location, making it easy to explore the area. However, the experience was disappointing overall. The showers were cold, and the bed was uncomfortably hard, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Due to these issues, I ended up canceling my last night. Would not stay again.”

They gave us the wrong room first and it smelled like cigarette smoke. Then the second room which was our correct booking has curtains smelled like cigarette smoke and there were mould in the ceilings in the shower and toilet areas. There were orange coloured water leaking out of the shower doorway. The "Queen" sized beds were two twins pushed together and very unstable so if one person moved a bit, both mattresses would move. We wouldn't recommend for families with young children.

Stay Away – Black Mold and Terrible Service

Wholesome Hotel is unfortunately one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. The bathroom had black mold and the staff was both unhelpful and unfriendly. When we requested a refund due to the serious hygiene issue, they refused. This is completely unacceptable – I would never recommend anyone to stay here.

This is not one of the more touristic areas, which I appreciated. Not a shopping area. The hotel is ok but the room could be better cleaned on shelves and under the beds. We had a constant low frequency hum (I guess from ventilation) and the AC in the room is noisy. But, this is not a five-star hotel and you don’t pay a five-star hotel price. New water bottles every day. Tea, instant coffee and a boiler in the room. The breakfast is overpriced. Skip the convenient store next door. Go another 50 meters west and there’s a bigger and better one. Five minutes walk to Metro station Longshan Temple. 25 minutes walk to busy Ximen.
