"This is an extraordinary place, beautifully nestled at the top of a narrow tree-lined road, designed to blend into the landscape. It's high, and the view of the sea is grand. Well appointed, with a salt-water pool and very nice communal areas. We stayed only one night, a stopover between Kona airport and the drive to Hilo. "This was our second time staying at the Kona Castle Reef . This oceanfront unit was comfortable, tidy and an excellent layout. Some of the lighting fixtures seemed dated and Could use replacement .
