The property was bigger than I thought it would be. The setting was peaceful. It was exactly what I was looking for. "This ryokan was beyond my expectations. The photos doesn’t do justice at all. The ryokan has everything you will need and is super comfortable and quiet. The owners and very sweet and kind and always help with everything. The place is next to the Nishiki market which is very convenient to grab anything fresh to eat. "This was a great base for visiting Kyoto, near the station and easy to find. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfasts were delicious and had lots of choice. Not all the front desk staff spoke English, but they were friendly and helpful, and we got sorted everything out, including sending our luggage back to Tokyo successfully."
