"Very enjoyable stay. Too hot overnight. Understand Air Conditioning was unavailable, will be better next time. Would have preferred bathroom door to open alternative way. Light very bright when opening door overnight. Or second switch inside bathroom. Bottle of water waiting in room very good idea. Staff professional and pleasant. Good quality breakfast. We will be staying there again."

"This was our second stay at The Cumberland, excellent as before! We book a family room number 7, it’s very quiet with a rear view over the town, spacious, light and very cosy. I normally don’t pay a particular attention to toiletries but they are so good at The Cumberland so I had to google and order for my home. Hosts are wonderful, breakfast yummy and central location. They provide parking permit if you can find a spot near the hotel. We’ll be back!"

"Bed was comfortable, large room and bathroom, very clean throughout the hotel. Breakfast was varied and well cooked. Service was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Gardens extensive. No local amenities that I was aware of. Sort of place ideal if just passing through, having a reception or making use of the bar/restaurant."

"The accomodatuin was basic but absolutely served our needs. The owners were really helpful and allowed us to have 4 adults in a room designed for 2 adults and 2 children. The only diwnside was the lack of parking but that is not their fault. "

"Great location with a short 5 min walk to the beach. 15 min walk to the harbour. Enty of parking. Good communication from Mike the host who dven sent me a txt to say id left my phone charger. Furniture and decor a bit dated but vlean and grest value"

"the property is perfectly located 2 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the town center. the hotel is in a beautiful building with a gorgeus garden and a dreamlike view of the bay. the rooms are clean and spacious, the breakfast is delicious but the best part for us were the people working there, They always make sure you feel welcome and provide excellent service, give suggestions and tips on what's going on and what to do around the area. the vibe of the place is just great.
