"Great property. Rooms are a bit smaller but it's not like you're there to do anything other than sleep. Wifi is a bit weaker, but enjoy Peru, get off your phone. No elevator but it's one floor. The location is a tad far from Plaza De Armas and up hill, but I liked it because I ate so much for dinner so it was goo exercise"

"Like much of Peru, the people working at Tierra Viva went the extra mile to ensure that my friend and I had a comfortable stay. They made us feel right at home (addressing us by name as we entered and exited the property). We went on a Salkantay trek and stayed at Tierra Viva prior to and after the hike. "We stayed two days before and two days after hiking the Inca Trail. Our room was nicer on the first stay, however both were comfortable and clean. Staff is amazing and willing to assist with booking taxis from/to airport. Breakfast included each morning and if you leave before breakfast they offer a pre made bagged breakfast. Area is located conveniently to shopping, eating and the main square. "
