"Why is it every time we visit Oban, there's a violent storm? We'd booked for two nights but on our day of travel Mathew phoned to advise all the roads were either flooded or blocked with landslips. We agreed to try travelling the following day, which we did - it was eventful and with many detours but got there. "Conveniently located, rooms were clean and there was enough room to manuever large suitcases. Staff was efficient and helpful. The bar was a great place to unwind and sit and talk. Parking in Oban is not easy but we just parked in the train station lot and paid for parking. It was across the street from the hotel. This hotel has an elevator which was a major factor in choosing it."
