The facade of this award-winning space is elaborately decorated with a fierce golden lion with glowing eyes and impressive structures such as a pyramid, expansive domes, and sculptures of Pharaoh found throughout the 4 million square foot property. The four themed shopping spaces – Fashion Central, Oasis Boulevard, Asian Avenue, and Marrakesh – offer exciting and well-designed areas to stroll. From high-end boutiques and technology to fancy restaurants and children’s toys – you can find it all at Sunway Pyramid.

You can find the combination of arts and education in Malaysia’s largest miniature park, MinNature. It’s here where you can explore 17,000 square meters of miniature 3D printed cities and towns that come to life with lights, automation, and educational panels. You and your loved ones can learn a lot from the historical facts of each miniature. There are reproductions of the Malaysian capital’s famous buildings, a smoking volcano, dioramas of the country’s farming and industry, as well as Asia’s longest miniature train track. If you wish to take up a new hobby of building miniature buildings, get some valuable tips and tricks at the Masterbuilder workshop. New displays are rolled out weekly — another reason to return to MinNature often!

Designed by American well-known designer, Max Wexler, the two golf courses – the Garden Course and the Valley Course – offer rich landscapes of exotic plant life, pristine green hills, and curving ponds. 5.  Savour fine local cuisine at the swanky Dewakan Restaurant

Defining modern Malaysian cuisine is Dewakan Restaurant, an entrepreneurial and educational effort of KDU University College that is led by the local chef, Darren Teoh. What you will find here is world-class fine dining that advocates the use of local produce to support small farms and reduce food waste. Their ethos reads: “We want to connect the ingredients from our seas, farms, mountains and jungles to a canvas that is our plate in the most interesting way we know how”.

There are two tasting menus offered here – Kayangan and Nusantara – which can be served with or without wine pairing. Look forward to dishes such as grilled lowland vegetables, cold pineapple soup with roast pineapples, bidor duck breast with blood sauce, and beef tendons with watercress.
