Its cosy premises will get the dog lovers rejoice as they can dine in with their pets. Dog-owners-to-be can also spend some time chilling with these dogs.

To fill hungry tummies, CuBs & CuPs offers a delicious all-day breakfast, hearty pizzas, salads, pasta and sandwiches, as well as their highly-recommended waffles and bingsu — a popular Korean shaved iced dessert — to end your meals with.

2. Purradise Cat Cafe, Kuala Lumpur

Purradise Cat Cafe, Kuala Lumpur Want to have a coffee with a friendly kitty (or two)? / Purradise Cat Cafe (@mypurradise)

Purradise cafe has been beautifully designed to cater to every need of its feline residents. Upon entering the cafe, the first sight that will catch your attention is the adorable four-legged stars strolling around the cafe.

Snuggled in the sprawling township of Taman Tun Dr. Ismail (also known as TTDI to the locals), Purradise cafe takes in previously stray cats, and they are all up for adoption.

Spending time at Purradise Cat Cafe is a little different from most other pet cafes. Each visitor is allocated with Furry Time at a fee of RM18 (about S$5.80) for the first hour, inclusive of a drink (with names like Purr By The Beach and Awesome Pawesome — who can resist?). Want more Furry Time with the cuties? Just add RM4 for every additional 15 minutes or pay RM49 for a full day. Alternatively, you can score an extra 30-minute with the cats for every RM12 you spend on the a la carte menu items.

Every cent that you spend here will go towards the cafe’s support for cats without a home, making it a win-win for both the felines and people who love them. And if you happen to fall in love with a particular kitty, don’t forget to ask if you can adopt it!

7) The Huskitory, Malacca

The Huskitory, Malacca It’s huskies all around at The Huskitory in Malacca / @edward_yong

If you’re crazy about Huskies, you won’t want to miss out The Huskitory in Melaka.

This Husky-filled pet store and grooming salon with an adjoining cafe is a 20-minute drive from Malacca’s city centre, but a visit to this space is well worth it for any dog lover.

Do reserve your slots here and check with the staff for the Huskies’ playtime. Usually, the 5-7PM and 8-10PM comprise of 1-hour indoor and 1-hour outdoor sessions, while other timeslots are mainly indoor. The Huskies here are well-trained, so don’t be surprised if you see them occasionally getting scolded by the staff. I recommend you to join the time slots with outdoor playtime so that you can interact with the pure-bred Huskies more freely. At RM18, you will get a drink of your choice, and you only have to rate them at TripAdvisor to get a bag of food for the Huskies.

If you have your dog with you, The Huskitory’s Dogs Bar menu will ensure that your furkid is well-fed. Their store is open for every pet owner to stock up on pet food, grooming essentials and Husky souvenirs.
