Great stay good service and comfort and more luxury treatment

The staff and the hotel were excellent.

This has always been one of our favourite hotels in the world. It’s ornate and gorgeous with incredible service. But…on this occasion we found the bed very firm. The staff bent over backwards to rectify the situation. The Qube restaurant is fabulous. Such a beautiful setting with delicious food and service. We did half board and had delicious dinners here as well. One other glitch this time, we needed an extra night and were quoted an outrageous price. At the last moment, as we were checking out, the management offered us the room at the same rate as the previous nights but by then we had booked rooms at the Oberoi. There’s a lot of competition between the Leela and the Oberoi and on this occasion the Oberoi won.

The whole experience from check-in and throughout was extraordinary. The smiling faces of all the staff who were willing to go over beyond added to the overall experience. This was a birthday treat from my husband and I'm so grateful we got to do this while visiting India.
