Peninsular Malaysia Kid friendly Holidays

Hotel was comfortable- big, tasty, very affordable breakfast buffet, good WiFi, good AC, nice outdoor pool, helpful staff. Location is OK, not that central to attractions but not far from Havelock MRT station. My main issue was how TINY my room was - a “studio queen” - square footage (about 160 sq.ft. I think) was publicized before I booked, but be aware if you book such a room, it’s REALLY tight - the width of a queen bed. You have to climb on a bench at the foot of the bed to launch yourself into the bed. The room was pretty well designed, though, for being so tiny.

We stayed here for one week and both had a wonderful, relaxing holiday. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast had a great selection of food; European, Indian, Chinese and Malaysian to choose from. There are two large pools - both are amazing, with lots of day beds/loungers available and a poolside bar and cafe. Our apartment was very comfortable, air conditioned and clean/well maintained with everything we needed. The Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa is just a 5-10 minute walk into the main centre of Pantai Centang, however there is a convenience store on site for any essentials if needed.

Great location, walking distance to the city attractions, shopping and restaurants, Large rooms, hotel rooms can be quite small in Singapore. Full breakfast was Ok, lots of options to choose from but I’m not a big fan of over done pre cooked fried eggs kept barely warm. We would stay again.
