"Fantastic stay. Lovely room. Free parking and £10 for our dog to stay ( 2 night stay) food was lovely and we could take our dog with us. The staff were fab made a fuss over our dog and nothing was too much trouble for us or her. Opposite, there is a field that you can take your dog for a walk. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will definitely be back. "

"Overall the hotel was ok. The bed was hard and a four poster, which wasn’t very tall, so I had quite a few head bumps. We stayed during the cold snap and the room didn’t have great heating, however reception did provide an additional electric radiator which worked perfectly. Overall staff were great, parking was easy, it is dog friendly but not all rooms are from what I could gather so you should check in advance if it’s ok. "We were put in a room that was freezing cold, in the basement, noisy wasn't the word, the floor boards above sounded like they were going to cave in! Cold basic and not comfortable. Disappointed"

"Breakfast was very good as was the service, but the coffee tea and milk in room was very poor as we had only two coffee four tea and three milk there was no decaff tea or coffee which is the only ones I can have due to having P C but noticed that they had Decaff coffee on offer at breakfast. "

"Yes and Yes. 1 point. As an older person, my head is dropping to bits. I have a single tooth denture. Such thing is quite small. I tend to brush it under a running tap. Had I done this, there would have been a severe danger of it disappearing down the plughole and lost for ever (Cost £250). Because the plug mechanism is missing which leaves the drain hole completely open! (Room 5)."
