"Everywhere was clean and tidy. The improvements made by the new owners work much better like the new reception area they have created with a lovely mural of York. The rooms are all being renovated to a good standard with coffee pod machines as well as the usual kettle.We will definitely be back. "

"This accommodation didn’t appear to be very posh and the room looked a bit dull BUT the beds were very comfortable, there was perfect silence during the night and the internet WiFi worked( despite a glitch at first possibly due to my own input or lots of others using it. To be honest this is a lot better than in the usual well known chain hotels that cost at least twice the price. Yup ! We were very happy with everything and a big THANK YOU to those responsible for this place."

"Beautiful property with a lovely spacious room with 3 single beds. Two beds were really comfy but the third was a sofa bed and not very comfortable. Well stocked tea tray but would prefer a coffee machine and fresh milk. But I’m a coffee snob! Lovely breakfast and would fully recommend this property."

"Food was excellent, breakfast plentiful and tasty, evening meals were very good. Bathroom we were in was a little cramped and the floor tiles were cracked and broken. Overall the whole stay was very pleasant , the staff were very friendly without being overly so. Would definitely go back if we were in the area."

"The Room is small but close to the town a couple minutes walk and you are in the port areaarea."

"Self check in details sent in good time and the process was painless. Room a little compact for a deluxe room and not sure which city i was seeing from the "city view" but all i could see was the house next door. "
