"We were really looking forward to staying at Green Villa but upon arrival they said there was a problem with the room and they were completely booked so had to book us in a hotel next door. The place next door was dirty and only half as nice. I went back when I saw they had availability the next 3 nights and they were able to put us in a ground floor room (I paid for a balcony) but it was still nice. "We stayed for 2 nights, and we both thought that the food and the public areas were amazing. We also booked the yoga classes which were great. The bungalows are very cool, they are open, so you get a pretty unique experience. The beds are a bit on the hard side, this should be improved."

"At the end of our Sri Lanka holiday we decided to spend a bit more on our Unawatuna hotel & were not disappointed. We had large rooms with loads of space, kitchen, really comfy beds, excellent views from our balconies. The staff were helpful & the pool lovely. We did book nicer rooms that some there & didn't eat so can't comment on the food. It's a bit of a walk or a short Tuk Tuk ride to the main tourist area or a beach but that also means it's quiet there."
