"Leuk verblijf midden in centrum van Galle fort. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk. En hebben voor ons meerdere malen vervoer geregeld. Kamers roken erg muf bij binnenkomst. Kan ook komen doordat het de tropen is. Wat ik jammer vond is dat de witte handdoeken erg verwassen waren. Ze waren totaal niet meer wit. Maar dat is een klein detail. Ik zou deze locatie verder absoluut aanraden. "

"Huge characterful and comfortable room in the converted old building. Very well located in the Fort area. Staff and service were very good. Nice bar area and cocktail menu. We didn't use the restaurant except for breakfast (which was OK but basic). In the library suite there is a huge bathtub (advised on arrival beyond the capability of hot water supply to fill) as well as a good shower. "At the end of our Sri Lanka holiday we decided to spend a bit more on our Unawatuna hotel & were not disappointed. We had large rooms with loads of space, kitchen, really comfy beds, excellent views from our balconies. The staff were helpful & the pool lovely. We did book nicer rooms that some there & didn't eat so can't comment on the food. It's a bit of a walk or a short Tuk Tuk ride to the main tourist area or a beach but that also means it's quiet there."
