"Great location and only half hour drive from home . Clean room and very quiet . Easy access to pubs only downside i have was once we checked in they asked for extra ยฃ100 as deposit as well as price for the room luckily i had my card on me as this wasn't stated when i booked ."

"This was the perfect place to call home for the week we stayed and explored Yorkshire. Excellent food, perfect location, cozy. The staff were lovely. AND, it was Alf Wightโs (James Herriottโs) favorite spot in Thirsk. We couldnโt have liked it better!"

"Lovely place, lovely setting. Stayed either side of the Great North Run. Staff were absolutely lovely, even got complimentary drinks when they found we'd just been running! :) Room very nice and spacious, comfy bed, only complaint would be that room was a tad warm for me, even with radiator off! Complientary entry to the health club as a hotel guest was a big reason we picked here, enabled a good soak and steam after running!"

"The property was nice and clean. The tasimo was a nice touch. The shower was broken but fixed the day after reporting. Not the propertyโs fault, but regardless of what the platform says, the old Mill does not offer a breakfast facility."

"Parking you have to pay extra for. A king room with sofa bed will mean you get the quieter top floor. Great for business travel. Can make own meals or grab a beer and something to eat downstairs."
