Golden Time!!!
We had a 2 night stay here, it was a wonderful stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only thing we were slightly disappointed with was that the Club Lounge was not open, although we purchased a Club Room. The kind staff did give us a club voucher for the lobby lounge and pool bar. I highly recommend Lotte to anyone traveling to Yangon.

Great place to stay in Yangon
The hotel was very well maintained, lovely pool and facilities, fantastic gym. The breakfast was very good with everything you could ask for. The staff at this hotel were very friendly and extremely professional and they were always immaculate, always willing to help and converse with us. Management should be very proud of the whole team.

Everything was perfect. As expected of a 5-star hotel. The only shame was that underground parking was closed to guests during COVID period so I had to park my car in the scorching sun instead.

Very nice and lifted hotel. But *Staffs are seem nice but feeling very stiff. Not only me. I had a same comment from other guest. There is only one outstanding. * There are varity of breakfast but they are awful. I had extented my stay 5 more days and I could stay there but I moved to Cedona Usually I don't want to post the negative comment. I did this bcos I really want them to improve. Myanmar is my native country.

The hotel is new with well appointed rooms. It’s a resort type property located on a lake with nice pools an outdoor bar and restaurant. The breakfast buffet is excellent. It has a large well equipped fitness facility. The lake view from my room was an added plus.

My overall stayed at Lotte Yangon was average. The location was good and hotel rooms and facilities no doubt is clean, however the hotel is lack of amenities which should not called “hotel and resort”. I have stayed at other 5 stars hotel resorts around the world and their facilities and amenities are way much more to offer. In terms of staff friendliness, It wasn’t consistence and definitely have areas of improvement in order to meet global hotel standard as a 5 stars hotel. I was a bit disappointed with my overall stay.

Excellent and fun for families - very safe, very clean, 1 child pool and 2 other pools, beautiful surroundings, friendly staff and great room cleaners. Faves was breakfast buffet and special New Year's buffet. Maybe could add outdoor playground or for me, tennis court? Highly recommended, will stay again.

A great hotel to stay in Yangon
An excellent hotel with an amazing outside pool next to Inya lake. Very comfortable room, bed, pillows, bathroom, with an incredible view of the lake and the city. Very helpful staff.

I didn’t like the pick up at the airport the person was on time but then he ask me for wait the car and took more than 15 minutes to reach me. Was really bad.

Mess up my year end gala party
I booked this hotel for year end gala party with cheering’Happy New Year’ as it was advertised on the hotel website. My wife bought a new dress to wear in the gala party we expected and we found that all tickets sold out to people outside of hotel not to hotel guests. It was only for invited guests from outside and the party area was blocked by hotel to access. It was so embarrassed and disappointed. Of course it could be my fault that I should check the hotel to make sure whether the gala party was for the hotel guests or not(that was what hotel staff said that). Last 18 years, I spent the end of year and new year celebration in hotels all different countries and had always good memorable gala parties as hotel guests with my wife. Me and my wife decided to spend our year end break in Yangon and I found only Lotte hotel offered the gala party and If I knew what Lotte is about, I would not screwed up my year end plan. Thanks a lot Lotte!

Our favorite part there was the breakfast. The rooms were nice. The staff was friendly; however, the front desk was a little rigid about things. For example, they had a Lego room and we weren’t allowed to access it, even if we’re willing to pay extra, as it was only for those who got the Lego package. We understand not wanting to flood the room if it had high usage, but it sat there empty. The hotel was also a little far from the central area.

Wonderful place with a few shortcomings
Very nice modern hotel with great staff that really go out of their way to please the guests. The included breakfast buffet was amazing! So many wonderful fresh options to choose from. Went to the SPA 2x to get back and foot massages. Very awesome, and got to try the Beyond shampoo and soap. Very fancy South Korean products which I was able to order on Amazon to have when I get back to the US. Where they came up short: -Couldn't do late check out without having to pay for a new room. The hotel was only at 50% occupancy. Ended up paying for an additional night as had an evening flight. -The free 1:30pm shuttle was to take us to the Shwedagon Pagoda but instead took us to the market. When using rideshare Grab I put in the wrong destination and took a few hours of wasted time to get back in the city and reached the Shwedagon Pagoda just before dark. Wonderful place to visit! -no usb ports near the bed and only a single wall outlet. Very hard when carrying 2 phones, and a smart watch For sure will stay at Lotte hotels again, they really know what they are doing as far as taking care of guests.
