"Stayed here the weekend of my 50th Yale reunion. I cannot thank the hotel staff for taking such excellent care of me and their other guests. Reception was friendly, welcoming, and courteous; my room was beautifully clean and spacious, design highly functional, sleep quality excellent; breakfast was simple but good, with excellent service. I have friends in New Haven, and will happily stay here again when I come to visit them."

"When we booked one of the big draws was the pool. However upon arrival we were told it is closed for maintenance. My plans had changed for vacation so I booked an extra day and when I checked in I informed the front desk person of this. Was told you will need to leave the room at checkout time and come back at check in time. "Everything was great with the exception that we had no hot water in the shower. I advised the front desk and they stated they would contact maintenance however we were checking out. Property was very clean. Staff was friendly. Complimentary breakfast was much better than others I've had at other hotels. Would definitely stay here again"

"The room smelled musty and/or moldy—it was on the first floor. The smell was bad enough that it bothered us the whole time we were there. The hallway smelled bad too. The staff were having a terrible time using their new computer system. It took over 20min to check in, and that was at 12:45am when we were desperate to get into a room. I heard another guest say the elevator door broke and she couldn’t get her bag off of it. Also the pool was out of commission."
