5 star for veg food request 5 star for kids entertainment every day 5 star for swimming pool and gym quality 3 start for room quality .. we found ANTs - hormiga every where they can’t stop even we spray killer . Management need to short out .

The hotel was on a quiet road and as the bar and entertainment areas were away from guest accommodation we were not disturbed at night. all amenities on site were good. The service from reception was good with any issues (safe door not opening, patio door handle broken) resolved quickly. Housekeeping and bar staff were exceptionally efficient and friendly . The dining experience was abysmal and the quality of food, especially hot food at dinner and breakfast was not acceptable for a 4 star hotel.

We stayed at the Mirador before Covid, we enjoyed it so decided it would be a safe bet to stay again. We like to walk so its handy for getting out to the beaches at Papagayo and theres a complex nearby which has shops and cafes. Getting a taxi into town is easy and cheap. We arrived much later than planned but the receptionist checked us in efficiently and with good humour. However, the wifi is poor, I had to tether off my phone; one receptionist I found to be quite surly and not at all a pleasant person to deal with and I saw her dealing with other guests in the same manner.

Staff is super friendly, dinner and breakfast are nice. However, the room was hot, and the AC didn’t work, they send someone to check but just looking at it and changing the air direction wasn’t going to help. As it was ground floor, sleeping with the window open wasn’t an option either so was very uncomfortable at night because it was so warm in the room. Also the internet didn’t work, once in a while I was able to connect but that was it. You would expect better in 2023…

We had originally planned to stay at this hotel for seven nights. If you like quiet then this could be the place for you although to be honest the place was lifeless ! The bar area lacked atmosphere. They have chosen black tiles for the swimming pool which actually makes the water look dirty and uninviting. It’s in the middle of a residential area and a 20 minute walk to the marina, a 30 minute walk to Playa Dorada beach and 40 minutes to Playa Blanca town. The food was OK but lacked variety and not what you would expect from a 4* hotel. Most guests and staff looked like they didn’t want to be there. The plus side were the rooms which were spacious, clean and tidy and our room had an amazing sea view. The beds are really comfortable. However the bath towels were anything but and were extremely small and flimsy. After one night’s stay we voted with our feet and left. With a bit of TLC and a different approach this place could be really good

Avevo prenotato chiedendo camera nei piani alti ed al check in Susanna molto formale ha detto di no anche se avve prenotato. eravamo molto infastiditi. dopo cena mi sono lamentato e c'era Fernanda che molto gentilmente ci ha fatto spostare all'ultimo piano con visuale FANTASTICA. Très bel hôtel très tranquil, es transats ne sont pas les uns sur les autres avec deux piscines chauffées 28 degrés à peu près, les chambres sont spacieuses rénovées, nous étions dans la partie famille avec salon cuisine salle de bain avec douche et baignoire et chambre séparée, la literie est parfaite avec un très grand lit 1m80 et un matelas de qualité, la nourriture est variée on trouve de tout, c'est plutôt bon, les animations sont variées comme les spectacles qui changent chaque soir, il est facile de se garer aux alentours de l'hôtel, le Mirador Papagayo est placé dans un endroit plutôt calme, vous accédez à la marina Rubincon par un chemin de marche en 10 mn, cette marina est plutôt chic boutique chic et nombreux restaurants. La belle plage de Papagayo se trouve à 10 mn en voiture par un chemin de piste, c'est un site exceptionnel, de l'autre côté de l'hôtel direction playa dorada avec une cristalline, ses activités, ses boutiques de souvenirs, je recommande vraiment playa Blanca qui est pour moi le meilleur endroit de l'île, nous n'avons pas du tout aimé Puerto del Carmen. Je recommande cet hôtel et nous reviendrons certainement.
