"Clean room. Good air. Roomside parking. Great staff."

"Staff was very nice at check-in. Unfortunately, the elevator was broken so we had to haul our bags & bikes to the second floor. Room was very small, but adequate. (Water pressure in shower was strong and the shower head did not adjust, so it pelted you) Lobby and grand staircase were beautiful, and there was plenty of convenient parking. (Pool was not open yet, just a tad bit too cold yet) Overall, a nice place to stay for a night or two. *Note: Property is approximately 40 minutes from Old Rag trailhead."

"First time staying at this type of place. I found this location to be excellent in bedding, bathroom, and interior finish, most likely recently renovated. Keyless entry a plus. I would recommend this location"

"A very basic motel with very clean rooms and comfortable bed on which to lay your head for the night. The proprietors were wonderful and it seems Prince Charles had a grad parade and gala in the town just before I arrived. Front Royal is a lovely historic town."

"As a man in my fifties who has traveled for a living, this is the single worst stay I have ever had the displeasure of being involved with. Clearly , the red roof franchising agreement is not being adhered to. The franchisee operating this location has put it in shambles.It is a disgusting property that is not fit for payment, let alone public use. I would be more than happy to give somebody a detailed description of the filthy moldy non working ice machine, the leaks coming from the ceiling , the filthy shower and toilet amenities and the roaches that were crawling on our belongings. If I Do not hear a response, I will pursue this, as I had planned, from a corporate standpoint, making sure that all Marketing and Operations departments understand the lackluster and disgusting state of operations in your Culpepper, Virginia, location."
