"This was a lovely place to stay. The room was beautifully decorated as was the en-suite which was modern and stylish. There was no road noise and black out curtains ensured the room was dark. The proprietor was friendly as well as incredibly helpful. Breakfast was excellent with many options available. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"Positives: The location and Parking are excellent. The Reception, and Bars are styling & Comfortable. But, some communal areas are tired (example the entrance from the car park), the garden is overgrown in parts and its seems their are sraff shortages (the staff seem good, but under pressure). There is building work going on, and there is evidence of this as you enter through the entrance from the car park. There is a very small lift and no sign for the stairs! "

"Very nice hotel in an historic building. Comfy bed, room was well stocked with everything you would need. Located 2 mins from the town centre with a good selection of restaurants. The breakfast was very good, excellent vegan options too. The staff were very friendly, particularly the lady who served us at breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble and she was very welcoming. Great value for money and would highly recommend."

"Could use a bit more out door lighting at night to not be in the pitch black and indicate an establishment is still there but otherwise was a very welcoming experience."

"Staff helpful, room well used and a couple of lights out in the bathroom, but blackout curtains worked and the bed was reasonably comfortable, so a good night’s sleep was had for fifty quid."

"I wouldn’t really say I’m a fussy person, I can put up with a lot and I’m quite resilient but my ‘stay’ at The Jersey Arms hotel was a very good way to force some impromptu character development and really make me contemplate a lot of my life choices. Being honest the receptionist was a sweetheart and did the best that they could, but the hotel was a different story entirely. "We enjoyed our stay overall, there’s a decent pub 2 mins away. Some basic items missing, garden furniture needs renovation, the upper stairs are precarious, use caution, one of our guests had a nasty fall. "

"Super cute, like being in your own romantic little bubble in the countryside. We came to watch a friend do a parachute jump at the airfield for charity. It was the perfect place to stay for a night or two. Loved the BBQ, the view through the windows and the way the space was designed. So compact and yet everything was so considered and well designed. "Room was eh, very noisy and zero air flow. Smelled very moldy and my nose is stuffed up after in night. Decided to eat local at the restaurant and was a disaster. €60 for two people and was the worst risotto, basically eating straight pepper seasoning, my GF had a burger and was so spicy she was sweating. Then had to wait nearly an hour to get a desert, that tasted very off, like expired tasting. To top it off, not really a reception, so you have to go to the bar, and wait like you are...
