"We stayed in a beautiful room with a view of the river which was spotlessly clean. The staff were outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble for them, even providing a cooked breakfast one hour early on our departure day. I would have no hesitation recommending this hotel to anyone."

"I stayed here the night before my wedding at Drum Castle and was able to utilize the late checkout so I could get ready there with my hair and makeup artists. My bridesmaids, mother, and I had such a great experience. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, the breakfast was delivered to my room and was delicious, and the property was clean and very relaxing. Lots of cute bunnies outside! We enjoyed our experience here very much and would stay again!"

"Rooms were too hot even with ac on lowest setting. The ac is OK if you are standing in front of the vent but the cool air by passes the beds. We tried opening the windows to get some air in however the noise of the seagulls screeching outside was unbearable. This meant very little sleep. On a positive, the room was spacious, bathroom lovely, staff very pleasant."

"This is a beautiful house close to the harbor. We had a triple room with bathroom. Good size room, I wish my room in Edinburgh looked like this. The whole property is spotless and up to date. The hosts are very nice and helpful and serve a good breakfast with lots of options. It's worth spending more time and relax in the chill Stonehaven. They have on site parking."

"Hotel is ok but £25 in a taxi to the centre of Aberdeen. Breakfast is pretty basic with no fresh fruit.I want to love this hotel but just wish it was nearer to the city."

"The advertising was very misleading. Expected a B&B with breakfast. When we arrived there was a note on a desk explaining the 2 plastic wrapped croissants and open items in the fridge were the breakfast. Room had a musty smell, bed and pillows are in need of replacement."

"Clean room and nice large bed in an efficiently run bar and hotel rooms establishment. A good location in the town, with a regular bus service to localities and further afield. The railway station is a 15 to 20 min walk so worth bearing in mind. Parking is free street parking on selected areas or pay car park opposite (8am to 5pm M toSat) The breakfast is freshly cooked from a small but reasonable menu, (Not buffet style so limited in that respect), Nice omeletes,Smoked salmon etc, Meals are...

"Everything about this experience was so unique and warm. It made our stay in Stonehaven so memorable! Everything is so clean. The room even came with a fan which my husband relies on at home. The kitchen is well equipped to cook your food if needed and the option to use the clothes washer was a huge bonus. Breakfast options were plenty and the coffee machine was exactly what I needed!"
