"The hotel advertises a rooftop bar or restaurant, but upon arrival staff did not mention it at all. When we asked, we were told it was closed, as was the pool. No further explanation, alternatives, or compensation were offered. The complimentary breakfast was average, with the same items every morning and no omelet station. If a rooftop bar or amenities matter to you, this is not the place to stay."

"The room was clean, convenient and impervious to exterior sounds (the El-tracks across the street were never heard). Th breakfast in the Robey Cafe was fresh, timely and served expertly by a very friendly and professional staff. I'll definitely be coming back."
