Entering through a gorgeous large porch into the wonderfully large yet cosy hall furnished with comfortable chesterfield and fireside chairs and kept toasty via a large attractive log burner! "As soon as I walked in, I was impressed. Beautiful Naomi at reception had already upgraded my room. Which was warm, fluffy towels, luxury tea tray. The cafe has great coffee served by super friendly Anna. I travel a lot and often skip a hotel b'fast due to the poor quality, but this one was delicious and made from scratch. Yum! Naomi made up the real fire for me so that I could do some work in the lounge before I left. Excellent and highly recommended. "

"I stayed here with my partner for a wedding. I got here around midday and fro that point onward everything was fantastic. All of the staff here were so friendly and accommodating, even arranging taxis for us and then keep an eye on them to arrive while we had a beer. "The property is good & I would come again. Just a shame little things would make it excellent. Drainage in showers not great. Not enough towels. The lack of a welcome pack. Not even a drop of milk, sugar, dishwasher tablets, coffee, tea. I mean it’s just a joke really that they didn’t provide small amounts of them? There’s a coffee machine, put a few pods out for the guests…. Other than that bang on. "
