"My initial thought was that a motel was not likely to be a great property. Wrong! The Anchorage Motelmis in a perfect location - 5 minute walk to shuttle service for Acadia National Park and easy access to many great restaurants. We were in the new building and the room had everything we needed including a microwave. Also, two very comfortable chairs, nightstands on both sides of the beds, shower with lots of pressure,etc. Staff was excellent - both Susie and Natalie had excellent suggestions...

"We loved our stay at Holiday Inn Resort Bar Harbor! We selected an ocean view, which was beautiful. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. We loved the tiki bar and restaurants on site as well. The proximity to town and hiking in Acadia, with shuttle bus service available throughout our stay, was especially helpful. There was so much to do, we didn't really spend too much time in the room; however, after a long day exploring Bar Harbor's beauty, we knew we'd get a restful night before...

"The location was beautiful and well worth the price. The indoor pool exceeded our expectations and was immaculate as was the hot tub. We did not use the outdoor pool or fire pit but both looked inviting. The location is close enough to walk to the d9wntown village.
