"Checked in hotel as a recommendation from friends who had stayed there before. We stayed 1 night. The next morning we needed to shower and leave early and had no hot water in the shower. We had hot water in the sink basin but nothing in the shower. When we told the reception as we were checking out, he said you should have dialed 0 but the time taken to correct it wouldn’t have been possible due to having showered already and we were checking out. Hotel was going through a major renovation also...

"Breakfast fresh but no eggs or french toast. Car parking awful. I was told I should have prebooked but never told of this. Had to park dangerously to find where car park entrance was. Not very pleasant."

"Arrived to see posters indicating that a boiler was being replaced between 10pm and 4am - there was no mention of this prior to or after booking. Fire alarm went off at 1.45am, spoke to reception who said it was a false alarm. The fire alarm light kept flashing after this. I went to reception at 2.15am who told me the light wasn't flashing as they'd reset the alarm (they didn't ask to check). "What a lovely clean lodge, and my grandson was kept occupied with the man play areas and Lego stations. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will be returning 💖"

"2 day stay . Very bad smelling room even after 2 days with window open. Its clearly been lived in by a smoker and a sock was still covering the smoke detector. Really uncumfortabke beds and dirty stained sheets and matress. No lamps no cups, spoon or coffee. Even had to tune the telly myself. Very strange types walking around the corridors would not recomend. Staff were nice enough when i spoke to them. Im not the complaining type so just loughed if off as a bad experience never to be repeated....

Residence Inn has been out go-to place when we visit Legoland given it's location convenience and overall cleanliness. "
