"I visited this property about 5 years ago and since then it has gone through a beautiful renovation....our room had a stunning view of the lake, the room was lovely and clean. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had cooked breakfast which was freshly cooked to order and was delicious. Would definitely recommend."

"We had a lovely stay for our 25th Wedding Anniversary, we upgraded our room to Super Deluxe which was very spacious and had a great view of the lake. A card was left in our room wishing us a happy anniversary which was a nice touch. Perfect location, breakfast was good and staff were exceptional. Our room wasn’t ready until 4 which is what the hotel states as check in time, this is a bit later than most hotels but we enjoyed a drink at the bar while we waited. "I had a great time here. Great location you're very close train station and where most buses go. It's about 20 minutes walk down to Bowness. Both Michelle and Christopher very frendly. I would recommend this guest house. Lots of bars and restraunts near by as well. "
