"Great place to stay as a stop off for a night en route to the Isle of Wight. Rich in history and heritage and has a rustic charm and character while being well appointed with high end bedrooms, modern bathrooms great showers and really comfortable beds. We had 2 rooms one bigger one smaller and both were great value. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and great service. Overall a very good experience. "

"This is a very nice hotel the room was a good size and well presented, the bed was very comfy. The staff were very good, friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was excellent, a good range and very tasty. The availability of free on street parking is a big bonus. We will stop here again in the future"
