"Hotel was just as we had hoped other than the construction work we didn’t know about. We were woken this morning just before 7.30 by the noise of heavy machinery. No chance of a lie in! "

"Had a fantastic one night stay here. Couldn’t fault anything about the property or the staff. The only thing was the aircraft noise however that didn’t stop me and my partner having a good nights sleep. Will definitely return."

"We had a very nice stay. The room was clean and very well appointed. The bed was comfortable and the area fairly quiet. It’s a short walk into town, so very conveniently positioned. The staff were very helpful and responsive, even agreeing to a late check out at short notice which was much appreciated. I would certainly stay here again and I recommend it to others."

"Lovely accommodation above a local inn with very nice restaurant. Room was beautifully presented with both bath and shower room and bed was very comfortable. Food is served in a great restaurant, being part of the pub and clearly a favourite with locals. The menu was excellent with fish and meat courses and breakfast was equally as good. Very friendly staff, good food and wonderful room. The perfect combination! Highly recommended and would definitely stay again. "

"Just about walkable to the airport if you don’t mind 30 min walk. We just had small wheelie bags but you’d need a taxi for anything more. Nice quiet budget hotel. 8 mins walk from Raymond Blanc Brasserie where we had an excellent evening meal. "
