Homely and wholesome

My stay was very homely …. Staff were welcoming, attentive, and down to earth. Breakfast was cool, coffee available throughout the day, and water blended with fruit was a daily ritual. They are good folks over there and I’d stay again. Thanks

My stay was awful. Upon checking in the sheets were dirty so I called down to request new bedding and the staff refused to bring any bedding until the next afternoon when I had to go to the front desk and pretty much beg for bedding.

This is by far the dirtiest hotel I have ever checked into. I got to my room and refused to stay there. They would not refund my card.

Cheap but not actually that cheerful

Room had a desk but no chair? I mean, WHAT? Moreover the aircon was quite the noisiest I've even encountered. It was like sharing a room with a truck diesel eating a flock of starlings. And the lift quite frequently refused to go up. Down, yes. Up, no. On the plus side, it was cheap.

The key cards kept failing to work multiple times per day. Lots of beer bottles and cans laying around by side door. Vending machines were empty. Some of the doors to other rooms looked like swat kicked it in. I don’t think the carpet has ever been vacuumed for the last couple years. The only saving point is the place is cheap and the evening lady was very helpful to the best of her abilities despite the poor management of the property and insufficient staffing and supplies.

Dirty old place. Holes in the bedding, sink didn't drain, stains on the walls and only 1 light bulb in the room worked (that's including the bathroom)!

I didnt like the old elevator that we needed to use to the 3rd floor. The handle on the shower water tap is difficult to use as it is upside down. Limited breadfast. Maybe we should have asked for the milk and sugar for cereal. Good helpful staff or owners.
