This Hotel was clean, quiet and also right across the street from the boardwalk. Check in was east and we were even able to check in early. There are also a lot of restaurants and ice cream places close by (off the boardwalk). We would definitely stay here again.

Immediately across the street from the boardwalk, the beach. a large bike rental place, and around the corner from Duffers restaurant and miniature golf place. Seems like your other guests are really nice as well, at least during our stay. Highly recommend!!

The room was clean and had a microwave and refrigerator. The pool was a nice size. Location was good-Convention Center was 1 block away, and the beach was across the street on the other side of the boardwalk. Parking was a little tight.

Room was clean. Close to ocean. WIFI very bad. Has laundry room. Staff very nice and helpful. Did not like music they played at pool, no options. Pool was small but nice and well cleaned. Would book again for this time of year -Sept.

The room smelled so clean when we walked in house keeping did a outstanding job . I was very pleased with the cleanliness ,to me that is the most important thing when I’m looking for a room . The girl that checked us in was also very welcoming and friendly . The Pool was nice they had things the kids could use to play in the Pool . Overall it was a 10/10 experience and we will definetly be back .

The property was as advertised. We knew going in that it was an old and dated property, but the location is excellent, the view awesome, the rooms clean, and the pool was terrific. The staff was helpful. The only issues were that the parking spaces could be wider and the ac was very loud. But those are very minor for what you get with the location!

We had a wonderful stay at the Starfire Motel! The property was very clean, quiet, and nicely updated. The rooms were comfortable, and everything was well maintained. The pool was perfect! The staff was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We really appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, especially after spending busy days at the beach and boardwalk. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and family-friendly place to stay in the Wildwood area, we would definitely recommend the Starfire. We would be happy to stay here again!

Staff was super friendly.Entire place was clean.While we loved the retro vibe, there are things that need updated.Both rooms had blinds that didnt close so everyone walking past or in the the pool had a free peep show. Parking was so tight, we had to back out to open doors far enough to get even our small luggage out, then pull back in and park again to get ourselves out (barely).We had to do this each time we needed anything from the vehicles.A/C GOT EXTREMELY cold, but if you turn it down or off for a bit instant sauna. There's not a comfortable setting for that. Showers were very low pressure.They do offer $10 sunglasses vs. $30 on the boardwalk so that was nice. I can't say enough about how welcoming the staff was though.All things considered, we'd stay again once things are a bit updated.The no privacy thing was a huge let down because as soon as you open the door, there's the beds.We rested horribly knowing strangers could watch us sleep.

Our return ferry trip was cancelled, so instead of driving 3+ hours with my granddaughter, I figured we'd stay somewhere inexpensive. While there are features such as cleanliness and service that rate 5 stars, this is not a 5 star property. It is an extremely well maintained and clean 1950s motel, right across the street from the boardwalk and beach. Desk attendant was super nice and gave me some tips for a bathing suit for my granddaughter. The pool was clean and stocked with toys. They had the 1 foot area sectioned off for the little ones. Room was a nice size with TV, fridge, microwave and Keurig. Furnishing were new. Bathroom was straight out of the 50s but not one chip in any tile. Cold AC. They did have generic soap, shampoo, etc., otherwise no real amenities. Location is in a seemingly quiet part of Wildwood. I was very pleasantly surprised.

The only reason for the low rating is because, I was put in a room that might've not even had a window. The room was way back in the breeze way, with a window facing a brick wall and the maids room not to mention once I walked out of the room you got hit with a trash smell due to they keep the garbage cans a few feet from the room. You should be able to see on your booking where the room is. The only thing good was the room itself was very nice and comfortable and the pool was nice. If I were to go here again which is a possibility, I would want a regular room with a window view. Be aware they don't have pool towels. Also from what I seen besides my room is that the AC isn't even close to you, my room had it right in front on my bed and worked great. All and all it isn't to bad as long as you don't get the two rooms in the breeze way. I also do have to say the breeze way rooms are a little creepy and especially my room didn't feel to safe.
