"We had trouble finding the property in the dark. Once we were oriented, we enjoyed the location and proximity to the esplanade. In the unit, the washer/dryer combo did not work well, the shower left much of the bathroom floor wet and we could have used additional towels. We never heard from or met the hosts during our stay."

I stay often as I am elderly & have a lot of Hospital Visits so my husband who is my Carer lives that this resort is clise to hisputal , has its own restaraunt , beautiful coffee & is ooen from 6.30 am for food.Rooms are comfy our favourite is Superior Room , staff are kind & caring & front desk always upgrades & has disability over toilet frame & shower chsir in room as I am in a wheelchair . We love the pools as well , such a great resort & suits...

"property is in a great location. We stayed in the Esplanade Tower, and the room was spacious enough for two people for a short stay. The bed was large, but it consisted of two mattresses joined together, with a noticeable gap in the middle that made it uncomfortable. The balcony was very small, not particularly clean, and the outdoor chairs were old, worn, and uncomfortable. only bath towels and hand towels were provided—no face washers. pools are undercover, so they receive no sunlight, and the...

"Rooms were nicely decorated however for a 5* resorts I was expecting the bathrooms to be modern and beautiful. They were not! And also we found (we had 3 rooms) mould in all showers. Reception and staff from La Mesa were very friendly however staff at the pool bar were not nice and cocktails were not up to the quality we expected from again a 5* resort. Very noisy due to school hols and kids take over all amenities. We will not be back as it didn’t provide value for our money and it was not a 5*...

"Overall trip was great specially the Jacuzzi. Staff was good in helping while check out, whereas their check in process was painfully slow. Also, we had issues in breakfast where instructions were not properly followed."
