My favourite place to stay when I need to come in to the city for business or an early morning flight. Have stayed several times and they never disappoint. Food in the restaurant is wonderful and it’s always an “feel good” factor to support small local business over a big chain brand.

Beautifully restored, queen room was spacious, staff were very friendly & helpful, enjoyed the restaurant- excellent food & service. Easy walk over to Esplanade to enjoy the park, walkways & ocean view.

The staff at the Floriana Boutique Hotel went out of their way to show us compassion and provide help and support when a medical emergency necessitated special consideration. Their response was outstanding and we are incredibly impressed. We enjoyed the on site restaurant and the rooms were very comfortable and attractive. We highly recommend the Floriana Boutique Hotel for its personal attention to detail and guests. We have not stayed in many other hotels that have offered such impressive staff.

What a charming small hotel, beautifully located on the Esplanade, easy walking distance to city center and harbour. The staff, Luca and Stephanie, are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Quality of food in the restaurant was remarkably delicious, with a varied menu. I wound up eating in the restaurant repeatedly, sampling different dishes. The chopped crab salad and lamb ragu were amazing

Amazing stay!!

Absolutely loved my stay here cannot recommend enough. The staff was so wonderful, helped me carry my bags up the stairs, and allowed for a late checkout which was super helpful! The rooms are brand new and the bathroom was very clean and lovely. Such a cute boutique hotel. Would recommend if you’re looking for a quiet stay that’s still in a great area. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Delightful!

A delightful place to stay! Certainly not your usual big hotel chain, Floriana is friendly, relaxed and caring. Yes, the windows open and the breeze from the ocean is fresh. Very comfortable beds and some nice touches. The photos on the web site are accurate. The restaurant is something special! Relaxed dining with excellent service and outstanding cuisine. We have stayed at Floriana twice recently and are looking forward to our third stay. Thoroughly recommended.

Excellent quiet fresh hotel

Lovely rooms. I was lucky to get the ground floor . Extremely clean and fresh. Aircon was great. Room 1 has a vibrating bed 😊. The pool was great, food service and standard top class.

We stayed in two different rooms at Floriana during our trip to Cairns. While both rooms were clean, the condition of the property was great, and we enjoyed our stay, do make sure you know which room you are booking. Our first booking was in a fabulous room which overlooked the promenade, while our second booking was in a much smaller ground-floor room without adequate blackout curtains to ensure the exterior light didn't disrupt our sleep (the curtains do not extend across the window panels in the door). Staff were very accommodating and helpful in this regard - but this issue needs to be addressed ASAP.

It was a fabulous stay, unique property with a restaurant and pool on site. Upscale bedrooms with all amenities, pics dont do it justice, such a warm, welcoming ambiance. Only thing of note is in the evening music can be heard from the restaurant dining until closing as sound carries. After that it's very quiet. The staff were all amazing, helpful and kind. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and didnt want to leave it was so great!
