"The place was comfortable and clean and located in walking distance to everything inside the city. Expect some street/people noise at night on the weekends. Keep in mind, parking in Reykjavik is difficult and at hourly rates too. There is no free or convenient parking. Be willing to find a P3 or P4 spot and walk back to save $$ if that's a concern. Our rental required walking up three flights of stairs, and we had some struggle with the gate & front door locks. Only window light was available...

"I loved this place. It was in the perfect neighborhood. Much bigger than I even expected. I’m used to small spaces in Europe. Plenty of room to walk around we had three adults two children. It is loud at night. There’s a bus stop out front and you can hear the buses and people talking loudly but that did not bother us if you like quiet not the place for you, but we thought it was perfect. I love being able to walk around and go to restaurants and shops. It did get a little warm in the apartment....
